Jerome Reilander has been dedicated to the art of Jewellery design for the past two decades. Working in his fathers jewellery store, Jerome learned the great importance of customer service and production of jewellery he can be proud of. The creation of Jay Lyn Jewellers originated from William Reilanders' brick and mortar store Plaxtons Jewellers which, Jerome eventually took ownership of. Plaxtons Jewellers evolved into Jay Lyn Jewellers with a change in production focus. Jerome wanted to create a store that not only carried quality items, but predominately quality items of complete originality for each unique customer. Jerome's change led way to new avenue's of artistic expression through custom jewellery design. Over the two decades Jay Lyn Jewellers has been producing fine custom jewellery. Jerome has studied his craft, making himself into a bonified artist, craftsman, and businessman.
Over the past two decades Jerome has seen many changes within the jewellery industry, most of those changes as a result of technological advancements. Through these advancements Jerome has presented yet another talent of his; an ability to adapt and evolve. Jerome started his first custom piece by doing simple pencil sketches. Now, he has mastered the medium of Digital Goldsmith - a computer program focused on creating two dimensional images of a jewellery design. To even further the sophistication of design, Jerome Reilander uses CAD - A Computer Aided Design software to create three dimensional jewellery designs. This program is more commonly known for product design by engineers for mechanics and other technical applications.
Jay Lyn Jeweller's metamorphosis has now led to Jay Lyn Jewellers Online. The market of Jewellery has now shifted, as with many businesses, to the internet. The only frustration Jerome has with this change of business is the lack of quality product being distributed through internet sales. With Jerome's dedication to providing quality workmanship, it was inevitable for him to create Jay Lyn Jewellers Online.
